Character Concept | Josora

This was a super fun project that I've been working on for the past couple of weeks. I was given the prompt of wasteland warrior and tasked with coming up with a design for it. I really wanted to play around with a more supernatural approach to the concept while also dealing with a "winter wasteland". I played around with a few thumbnails to establish how I wanted the silhouette of the character to look, finding inspiration from Inuit and North Asian cultures for how I wanted the character to dress. I then did several sketches to iterate on what I wanted the design to look like before creating a turn around and a rendering of the character. Like I said this was a really fun project!
